Black Mirror , a Netflix series which follows the rise of effects of technology in the modern age, focuses on social media for its "Nosedive" episode. The episode was written by Rashida Jones and Michael Schur . It follows the main character Lacie, as she go through a figurative Nosedive. She lives in a world where ratings rule supreme and act like a satisfaction/credit score combination. When Lacie gets a low rating from her brother, she goes into a tailspin where she goes through a series of interactions that lower her score from a 4.2 to nothing. She continues to get bashed over and over again when she tries to purchase a new home, participate in a wedding etc. At the end of the episode, she comes to the realization that her obsession is not as important as enjoying real life.

We will all be involved in the planning and creating. If somebody has a particular idea, they will be responsible for the partnership and execution of their idea. 4.  Timeline- We will start the project the week of 10/19.
